Recycling Programs

Around the United States recycling programs have become part of a main stay in the everyday lives of Americans. A recycling program can be described as any of the following:

  • Any recycling program operated by a county or city government;
  • Any recycling program that exist with no involvement by local municipalities, or voluntary curbside recycling service for which residents would be required to pay extra;
  • Any recycling program where private haulers are bound by contract or franchise agreement to provide recycling service; or
  • Any county or community where the residents receive recycling collection service along with residential solid waste collection at no additional cost.
