On April 28, 2005 W. Henson Moore, President and CEO of the American Forest & Paper Association and former Deputy Secretary
of the U.S. Department of Energy appeared on OnPoint with Energy & Environment Daily’s Brian Stempeck and Ben Geman. Moore
was on the program to discuss the U.S. House’s recent passage of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the upcoming debate on similar
legislation in the U.S. Senate.
In July 2005, the House and Senate passed the final version of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and President Bush is
expected to sign the legislation soon.
