The Green Building Initiative works with builders and their associations to facilitate understanding and acceptance of sensible green building practices. Their mandate includes:
• Supporting Home Builder Associations in their efforts to develop green building programs.
• Providing web-based resources—including model guidelines, case studies, consumer data, marketing information and online technical support.
• Hosting educational seminars covering a variety of green building topics.
• Participating in green building trade shows.
• Educating the public through advertising, article placement and other forms of media outreach.
