WASHINGTON - The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) is proud to announce that veteran Hill staffer, Elizabeth Bartheld, has accepted the position of Vice President, Government Affairs for the association.
Bartheld joins AF&PA from Congressman John Sullivan's (OK-1) office where she served as chief of staff for nearly a decade; prior to that position, she served as legislative director for both Sullivan and Congressman Wes Watkins (OK-3). In her new role, Bartheld oversees all AF&PA federal and state government affairs, the political action committee, and grassroots activities.
Bartheld holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and political science from Baylor University and a master's in business administration from the University of Maryland.
