AF&PA, NCASI, and AWC have scheduled a workshop on the final Boiler MACT rules recently released by EPA. The workshop will be held on March 13-14 in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center. This day and a half workshop (ending at noon on March 14) will focus on regulatory implications, compliance requirements, and compliance options. The event is designed specifically for environmental professionals in the forest products industry responsible for implementation of the final Boiler MACT rules, including Non-Hazardous Secondary Material (NHSM), Boiler GACT, and CISWI. Mill and corporate staff responsible for power systems at pulp and paper mills and wood products facilities will learn from industry experts and EPA staff, the many complexities of this set of new requirements.
