AF&PA Launches Newly Redesigned Website

WASHINGTON – The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) today announced the redesign of its flagship website – www.afandpa.org.   

“AF&PA is proud to advance the priorities of the pulp, paper, packaging and wood products manufacturing industry, and by improving our web presence, we can better convey the positive economic impact and social involvement and environmental stewardship our members represent,” said AF&PA President and CEO Donna Harman. 

“Our industry is developing products that people depend on today and will rely on tomorrow.  Today’s announcement represents our efforts to better tell the positive story our members create with every investment, improvement, and innovation they perform.”

Additional functionality includes interactive features, video, social media outlets Facebook and Twitter and a new AF&PA blog.  The site offers visitors easy access to information about the priorities and actions the association is taking with and on behalf of its members.

Sustainability is the foundation of the forest products industry, and our website highlights investments and performance improvements AF&PA members are making to deliver results for the sustainability of the industry, their products, and the communities in which they operate.  Through AF&PA’s sustainability initiative – Better Practices, Better Planet 2020 –members have set the course to reach for even greater heights across a comprehensive suite of sustainability goals.
