WASHINGTON – American Forest & Paper Association President and CEO Donna Harman issued the following statement in response to Gina McCarthy’s nomination as EPA administrator this morning.

“AF&PA welcomes the opportunity to work with Gina McCarthy in the role of EPA administrator once she is confirmed by the U.S. Senate.  Our association advocates for science-based environmental policies that recognize the sustainability attributes paper and wood products and the sector’s processes and supply chain, and we look forward to a constructive dialog with EPA and its many stakeholders in addressing the nation’s most important priorities.”
