Recycling

Thanks to industry leadership and the tireless efforts of the millions of Americans who recycle paper at home, work, and school every day, paper recovery has reached record levels. In 2007, 56 percent of the paper consumed in the U.S. was recovered for recycling. This impressive figure equals nearly 360 pounds for each man, woman, and child in America.

This is great news for our communities and for the environment, but there is more that can be done.  Consider your office or home recycling program – is there more you can do to improve your environmental stewardship efforts?
