Paper2016, co-hosted by the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) and the National Paper Trade Association (NPTA), will be held in New York City March 6-8.
Our conference theme is Generation Paper, referencing the important role paper plays in the lives of current and future generations. From current to future employees and consumers, our industry has an important role to play.
At the Monday Afternoon General Session on March 7, employee engagement expert Eric Chester will focus on tactics and strategies companies need to employ to better connect with young employees and attract new talent to the industry.
On March 8, RISI’s John Maine and Ken Waghorne will present the market outlook for printing-writing paper, paperboard and recovered fiber at their annual seminar.
The Paper2016 Luncheon will feature international award-winning editorial cartoonist Kevin (Kal) Kallaugher. With the political season upon us, Kal will provide an entertaining and interactive presentation about the role paper plays in his diverse portfolio of cartoons.
During the luncheon, NPTA will present Bill Koehn of Domtar with the Stanley O. Styles Industry Excellence Award – NPTA’s highest honor.
Suite meetings and various association committee meetings will take place throughout the Paper2016 event.
