WASHINGTON – American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman today issued the following statement supporting an amendment filed by Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) to the budget this week in the Senate that would require U.S. Department of Transportation to submit its delinquent report on the Comprehensive Truck Size and Weight Study by April 30, which was due to Congress last November.
“We applaud Sen. Wicker for taking this action to ensure that lawmakers have the information to make policy decisions during the upcoming debate on the highway bill.”
