AF&PA Urges House Passage of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

WASHINGTON - American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman urged members of the U.S. House of Representatives to support passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (H.R. 1) – historic, comprehensive tax reform legislation expected for consideration later this week. She issued the following statement:

“As one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the nation, we urge House members to deliver the tax reforms American manufacturers need. Removing barriers to new investment and job creation is essential to future competitiveness, and the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is the tool we need to set a solid foundation for growth for generations to come.”
