AF&PA Thanks House for Passage of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

WASHINGTON - American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman thanked the U.S. House of Representatives for passage of the Tax  Cuts and Jobs Act and issued the following statement:

“House passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act moves the paper and wood products industry closer to the tax solutions it needs to help drive economic expansion and create American manufacturing jobs. We are one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the nation and thank House members for recognizing the need for tax reform that allows U.S. manufacturing to grow.  As the Senate Finance Committee continues its work, we urge a focus on ensuring tax rates are globally competitive and provide opportunities for investment.”
