AF&PA Congratulates Assistant Administrator Jessica Kramer, Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water

Underscores value of partnership in advancing water policy 

WASHINGTON – American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Heidi Brock released the following statement on Jessica Kramer's confirmation as Assistant Administrator to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water:

“We congratulate Ms. Kramer on her confirmation to lead EPA’s Office of Water. AF&PA members make about 87% of the pulp, paper, paper-based packaging and tissue products made in the U.S. The U.S. forest products industry supports over 925,000 American manufacturing jobs in mostly rural communities across the country.

“Ms. Kramer brings strong experience to this role, and we look forward to working with her on water policy grounded in a durable, legally and scientifically sound framework that provides certainty and supports investments and innovation in U.S. pulp and paper manufacturing.”
