AF&PA Releases Q3 2025 Boxboard Quarterly Report

WASHINGTON – The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) released the Q3 2025 Boxboard Quarterly report on October 31. 

Total Boxboard production in Q3 decreased 2% compared to Q3 2024.  The boxboard operating rate was 88.7%, down 1.7 points from the same quarter last year.

  • Solid Bleached Folding - Domestic production increased 1% compared to Q3 2024.
  • Plate, Dish & Tray - Domestic production increased 14% compared to Q3 2024.
  • Uncoated Recycled Boxboard - Tube, Can & Drum--Domestic production increased 3% compared to Q3 2024.
